Girls Night

So on Saturday I got together with all my sisters (and usually my Mom, but she's out of town :() and went to the Women's Broadcast. First we had to get together to have a sister's picture 'cause Caroline wanted one, which is great. I guess it's been about 3 years. Then we went to the church for dinner, watched the broadcast and then came back to our house to watch Penelope. It was cute. It was a fun night with the sista's. Love ya girlies.

September 21st 2008

I have a bunch of random pics to put on to catch up over the past week. I had my camera out, well, it's always out, but took it outside and got this one of Caroline. I love her in this color.

Thought this one was so boy of cooper. My Mom and I were talking about how it's so funny that boys are just so boy. They just have things programed in their heads before they come I guess.

I love this pic of Isabelle 'cause you can see her little dimple.

Brian was outside playing duck duck goose or some other chasing game with the girls and I thought they looked so cute playing together, so I had to capture the moment. Bri's been really good about playing with them lately. They love it of course.

Elizabeth started violin lessons last week from her great aunt Lisa. Boy that makes Lisa sound old, but she's not at all. How funny. Elizabeth has taken to the violin really well from what I know about violins, which is ... well, nothing, but I think she's doing good. She loves it and we've all had fun taking turns trying to play it.

Cooper has been my best little buddy the last few days. He's been all sweet and snuggly and we are starting to "connect" in a different way. He's just so cute and I love kissin' on him all day!

I put curlers in Elizabeth's hair tonight and Caroline wanted them too, so then I figured we couldn't leave Isa out, so we stuck one in her hair and took a pic.

The new me....

So here are a few "glamour" shots I had to take of myself. I was going to wait until I lost 10 pounds to get my hair cut, but I just got impatient and cut it anyway. On the weight loss thingy though, Brian said that once I lose my weigh he'll take me to Hawaii. He said he has to lose 20 pounds too, but we know how guys are. I'm sure he'll lose it all in like 1 month. Anyway.... anxious for that!

2 months old

Well Miss Isabelle just turned 2 months yesterday. Amazing how fast it goes, yet I can't imagine not having her as part of our family. Too bad pregnancy doesn't go that fast! Am I right or am I right. Arrrraaaarrrararar (That's from What About Bob by the way. :)) Anyway, here are a few pics of the precious baby.

Brother and Sister

Well, I got a few of Cooper smiling, but not great "photo look", but they were cute, and then same with 2 of Isabelle. I got a few good ones of her, but they're on the photo blog if you want to see them. :)

Before the big party...

I'm back

So our computer is being worked on (thanks Greg) but for now, Brian set up our home computer again. It's so slow! Oh well. So for us, what's been going on you may ask, well I will tell you a little. Elizabeth started Kindergarten and loves it. Her most favorite part, of course, is recess. That and riding the bus to school.

Brian's parents came out for a visit which was very nice. We had a great time visiting and the kids had a fabulous time playing house with GranChud. It was a nice break to have them off playing with him. They loved every minute of it. Thanks GranChud for being so patient with their "abundance of energy"!

Isabelle is such a sweetie and we love her so much. She's not always content, but we discovered it's because her personal space is frequently invaded. We're working on it.

Summer is over, but not much feels different. It just feels like Elizabeth is outside playing like she has been all summer. Brian's garden has been wonderful! The squash is the best I've ever had and the tomatos!!!! They're like dessert. His corn was good, but we didn't really know when to pick it, so it will be better next year. Peppers and green beans are still coming. It's all been so wonderful. I'm so glad it's something he enjoys and is good at.

Brian is starting a new schedule at work this month and we're really excited about it. He'll be working Tues-Fri until 5:00. No nights, no weekends. Love it!!! He's really enjoying this new place and hopefully it will be a little more long term!

Our house is still for sale, so if you know anyone or want it, by all means, we're ready and waiting!

Other than that, I've been reading a parenting book and Breaking Dawn. I bet you can guess which one I've spent more time on! But I bet you can also guess which one I need to be spending more time on! :) Both will be finished soon.

Well, that's it for now!

Blessing

I know you're all anxiously awaiting a new post, but our computer has gone on the fritz. My in laws are here with their computer, so I have a quick sec to put up a couple from the blessing. It was a great day. I tried to quickly get a picture of her, but it didn't really work, so I'll have to try later when I have a little more time to focus on it.

Well Isabelle has made it to 1 month old. I can't believe it's already been 1 month. I'm at least 1 week behind. She's doing great. Growing up an being loved all day long. Here's one pic of her. There are a few others on my photo blog, so check it out if you want.
