So I feel so boring. I haven't had anything great to report and haven't taken any really great pics. I've had the whole tagging thing sent my way, but I just can't imagine that there are 50 interesting things about me. I'll have to try at that one later. So I thought I'd leave you all with a story....
It all happened almost 5 years ago. There I was with my dear friend Alicia. She and her husband were house sitting for a family in the ward and we were heading over there with our babies, Elizabeth and Berlynn, for a girls night.
The roads in Pennsylvania can be very winding and make it hard to see oncoming traffic. Well, as timing would have it, we were coming up the hill and this punk kid went through his stop sign smashing right into the back rightside tire of my car. We sat there in a little bit of shock and just pulled off the side of the road to "take care of business". As if you would only expect to see in a movie, the kid sped off. "Oh no he doesn't", I said. Okay, I didn't really say that, but looking back it would have been the perfect thing to say. Luckily for me, but not so much for the kid, my car was still in driving condition, so I flipped it around and chased that little sucker for about 10 min. Alicia was prepared with her cell phone and called for back up. Well, she called for the police, but we didn't really need them. :)
As I stated earlier, the roads were very windy (sp), not to be mistaken for wind blowing. We were going almost 50 through residential roads and now looking back, probably not the best idea. Anyway, me and my bad (meaning good)skills trapped these little suckers in a driveway in a circle. Right as that happened Alicia said the cop said, "don't block them in and don't get out of the car". Well, by the time she relayed this to me, I was already out of the car yelling. I know what you're thinking, me yell, not possible, but true. :) Then this kid tried to convince me that he didn't know he hit me. I was like, " then why the heck were you speeding away from me for the past 5 min? You idiot." I didn't actually say idiot, but for sure thought it. Anyway, cops came and took care of business. His parents came and I thought boy is he gonna get it, but they were retarded and we won't get into that. After all calmed down I replayed the incident in my head and thought of what an idiot I was. Here I am with two babies in the back, speeding through crazy residential roads, chasing down who knows who and trapping them and then, being dumb enough to get out of the car and yell at them. Although we weren't in the city, who's to say they wouldn't have had a gun and killed me. It was a pretty common news story each night. But I'm a tough motha', so it all worked out fine.
So there ya have it.

Date night
So last night we redeemed our Christmas gift from Mellie and Greg. It was for them to babysit our kids while we went on a date. It was great. We went and saw 21, which we liked, but can't recommend because of the stupid strip club scenes. Then we went to dinner and just had a nice relaxing time. It's nice to go out and not worry about the money you're shelling out on a babysitter and know they're being taken care of. They had a fun time. Here's a picture to prove it. Thanks Mel and Greg!

Because inquiring minds want to know...
Not the best picture, but for those of you who ask or want to know... here's me at 5 1/2 months (22 1/2 weeks). Over half way, but still lots of growing to go. Yuck. :)

Funny but not so funny
So I have this friend from HS who has a car cleaning company. Mind you I've never had anyone clean my car, or my parents cars. Growing up, that was our job. My Dad would do his, but his wasn't really ever dirty. So, thinking about paying someone to clean my car, I felt a little, I don't know, lazy I guess. But if you'd seen my car, I don't know when I'd get the time to do it.
Anyway.... so my sister had this guy clean her car and so I set up an appointment. I was after her car, which is also a suburban. When she told me how much it was going cost, I told her they'll come back with a higher price once they see it. We kind of laughed.
So I showed up with my car and he was still working on her car. Her car was new (used) and really clean and it took him over 3 hours to clean. He asked if he could look at mine so he'd know how long it would take. A few minutes later he (the employee) had my friend on the phone. Long story short, he said my car needed "special attention" and I would be charged an overage charge. It took him 5 hours to clean. Yikes right?!!! Well worth the money though. If you had seen my car. Hopefully you didn't though!!!

Easter
Here are some pics from our Easter. It was a nice day. Good to be with family and fun to watch the kiddos on their egg hunt. I tried to get a decent picture of our kids, but they weren't working with me very well, neither was the big kid (Brian). He said, as he often does," I hate taking pictures". I mean seriously. How old is he? JK. Anyway, so this is as good as it gets this year!

Finally..... some love
Thank you to all of you who either emailed or left a comment on how to get your kids to stop fighting. I appreciate all the words of advice. This past week was actually a good week. I've realized that they fight less when I monitor their tv time to 1 hour a day. Who knew?! Anyway, here is a picture of them caught in the moment of playing together and being sweet, to remind me on those days when I think it's impossible for them to get along.

From boy to man....
So I'm sure some of you have asked yourself, "at what point does a boy become a man?". I have a small answer for you. I think once they can watch tv like this (the last 2 pictures) and not be phased, you can pretty much see the man starting to show its ugly self. JK.

It's a ....
Well, for those of you who voted boy, we were wrong. It's a girl. I thought it was going to be a boy, but apparently not gonna happen this go round. We're excited though. Hopefully she'll take a little after Cooper's personality, well, his personality thus far. :) The other good part is that I've only gained 2 pounds. Wahoo. Not that I've been trying really 'cause if you'd seen what I've eaten lately, yikes! Anyway, so here's to hoping for better eating habits and preparing for our little girl to come.
