March

March was a busy, but fun one for us. Brian and I decided to try out a wood working project. Since we don't have a porch for a porch swing, I figured we could do a swing for under our deck and that would be wonderful as well. So we built it in one day. Super fun.

We took a super fun trip to Grand Lake. I usually like to get a warmer trip in the late spring when there's still snow, but this time we went into more snow. It was a blast though. We all had a great time. We walked the strip of stores and stopped in a few times at the candy store. The man there also made glass figurine and a few of the kids got one. We even got to put in a special order and watch him make it.
We had fun staying in a "cabin" where the kids all slept in a room and Brian and I slept out on the pull out couch. We had a fun day tubing down a good sized hill. Cooper and Caroline were really good at riding the sled down standing. They had fun trying that out and they all had a good time riding the tube down and Brian pulling them back up!

We took a little drive up the mountain, as far as we could go, which wasn't too far. It was beautiful with all the snow. I'm not a fan of being in snow, but it can make something beautiful and peaceful.

Elizabeth tried out her first play, The Wizard of Oz, and loved it. She did fabulous! She memorized all her parts and did good with projecting her voice and different expressions. She was anxious to start another one as soon as it was over! She played Auntie Em as one of her main rolls. She had a few other minor parts as well.

Cooper turned 7! Crazy!

Cooper finished basketball and Liz started soccer
